Digital Corps

The Out in Tech Digital Corps aims to provide web services to activists around the world. By creating a digital platform, Out in Tech volunteers will enable these unsung heroes to share information with their members, archive important documents, fundraise, and generally raise awareness on LGBTQ+ rights in their home countries.

OUT IN TECH
BUILD 10

On Saturday, June 10, 2017, Out in Tech held its second Digital Corps build event in support of 10 domestic groups fighting for LGBTQ+ equality, rights, and health.  This event was made possible by the amazing folks at Automattic, Bank of America, and PayPal.

INCLUSION TECH:  CONNECTING COMMUNITIES THROUGH CODE

The other eight organizations benefitting from the event hail from Belize, Botswana, Brazil, China, the Nile Valley (Egypt/Sudan), Pakistan, Russia, and Zimbabwe. The Out in Tech team is hoping that this will be the first of a series of events geared at supporting these extraordinary grassroots organizations, and at providing an opportunity for its members to contribute to the fight towards equality.
